So, the Japanese legislature has proved themselves true leaders, instead of corporate whores. As discussed in a previous post, the legislature in Japan was considering passing a law that would change the maximum interest rate from 29 percent to 20 percent. Well good news, it passed! The leadership in Japan has sent out the message don't terroize our people!

First off, unlike the United in being screwed over States, Japan actually has a limit on how much interest can be charged by the corporate terrorist bankers. Granted it is still a ridiculously high limit of 29.2 (www.innercitypress.org).

According to Citibank, they were unable to verify my employment and my loan application was denied...but not until the refinance of my current mortgage had already been approved! It seems they were willing to take on a $250,000 loan at 8%, but had no interest in the variable rate, lesser borrowing relating to the equity line. This leads me to think that the management had already determined that my employment would not continue after my medical leave ended. In addition, they did not provide the required Worker's Comp forms, did not respond to verification requests from the disability insurance provider (Met Life) and Travelers (a former fully owned subsidiary) denied my workers comp claim based on the fact that the forms were not filed until after the expiration of the short term disability claim. They also had a myriad of other defenses based on the fact that the medical reports were not received (although the HNO has proof that they were sent on two different occasions)" (innercitypress).

Here is a story from inner city press that shows just how sick these corporate terrorists are...especially when they are dealing with the sick.

"I missed six weeks of work, and asked to be accommodated through the flex-work initiative propounded by the corporate offices. The HR department told me that my request had been denied due to some late reviews and that I would have to return to the office to complete a conference call. When I came in I was called into a manager's office with my immediate supervisor, and his manager and told that my request was denied, there would be no further discussion and if I wanted to continue working there I had better sign the forms being presented to me. Although I was, and am still under a doctor's care, the forms basically stated that I felt ready to return to work and that a new work-plan was being devised to "accommodate" me. So basically Shitibank used terror to scare this employee into signing a contract against their will. Now someone explain to me how this isn't terrorism! Not to mention slavery and abuse.

What would happen next though was on a completely new level of evil. Shitibank doubled this employees workload. This employee spent their whole Memorial Day weekend trying to satisfy the terrorist slave drivers at Citibank. The worker even spend their own money to hire someone to help. This is one of the richest companies out their and they not only abuse sick slaves, but they force them to spend their own money to do their dirty work.

But what do you think was the reward for this employees slave labor "Five weeks after I returned, I was terminated and escorted from the building by 4 vice presidents and the head of building security. Today's Citibank screw over a soldier tactic: don't like that the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act of 1940 requires you to reduce the soldiers interest rates-delay and sell. Delay: Move at the slowest pace possible to marginally comply with the law by creating an imaginary bureaucracy. Sell: Then sell the accounts all against the spirit of the law. The point of the Soldier's and Sailor's Civil Relief Act is to allow soldiers to concentrate of what they are doing, and in protecting their own lives by allowing them to not have to worry about finances. However, similar to Bush, Citibank doesn't care if people live for die, as long as they make money out of it.

Well, yes, in part I told you to cancel them because they are run by a bunch of rethugs and corporate terrorists. However, I also have told you to cancel them because Shitibank is just that: shitty.

Anyway if you still have a Citibank debit/atm card, their system which Citibank purposely makes easy to be hacked has been just that: hacked. If you think is just tri's tinfoil, think again. Of course the chickenshits at Citibank have refused to comment to the media or admit that their systems suck. Rather, she informed me that the ATM networks of Canada, Russia and the United Kingdom have been compromised. I used the term class break as a question and she repeated that there has been a class break of the ATM networks in those countries. The ATM network in Canada has been compromised and as a result, using my ATM card over the Canadian network locked my account automatically. She informed me that this has been an ongoing issue for the last two weeks. When I asked why there was no media attention, she said she wasn't sure. I said it was a pretty big deal and she agreed.

She informed me that I would have to return to the United States to change my pin number before my card would be valid and in a usable state again. When I informed her that I would be traveling outside of the United States for at least a few months, possibly up to six, she repeated that I would have to re-enter the United States to fix the problem (http://www.securitypronews.com/...).

Yup, another fine example of Citibank's stupidity, lies, and ineptitude. Hmm, like I say Citibank=Bu$h. Like Bu$h, like one of his favorite corporate terrorists. But anyways back to the story.

This still remains primarily a security problem, though it's turning into a public relations problem too. This is good example of Citibank's obvious lack of a solid contingency when security problems like this occur and that, inevitably, will happen again. This is the story of the brave Pam Martens, a brave survivor of abuse at the hands of some evil twisted executives.

If anything, the industry has gotten worse. Women all around the country are contacting us through the web site and through the New York chapter of NOW, and telling us what is going on in their offices. We've heard of additional cases where women have been raped and quickly given a pay-off to stay quiet. Virtually all of the most egregious employees responsible for the worst behavior are still employed at Smith Barney (part of Citigroup).

About a week ago their was a journal asking people to boycott Citi due to them being a large employer in South Dakota where our rights have been trampled on by a bunch of wingnuts. I strongly support the boycott, but what I want everyone to know is that Citigroup is a hardcore red company that is anti-female. They should be boycotted based on numerous practices and not just abortion.

Like Bush Citibank Hates the Troops: Part II

Today's diary is about the story of one soldier who bravely rejoined the armed forces in 2002, at a time when people already realized that if you joined the military you were risking your life. So how do the yellow elephants at Citibank show their appreciation? By making up lies and excuses to deny this soldier the lower interest rate that they are entitled to by the Soldier and Sailors Civil Relief Act of 1940.
The soldier's story is below in their own words:

"I first contacted The Associates in May of 2002. At that time I was denied enrollment. I was told that because I originally entered the military in 1989, I was ineligible. However, my tour of duty was over in 1993. I opened my account with The Associates in 2000. At that time, I was a civilian and had no intentions of signing back up with the military. Yet, in March of 2002, I entered into the US Army on full-time, active military duty. As the law states, the SSCRA regulates the amount of interest I am to be charged for any credit accounts I opened before entry into military service.
"I have disputed this matter with The Associates to no avail. I have sent them copies of my original orders showing my current enlistment date, as well as a copy of the law. Still I was denied. I was then forced to go to my JAG office on base to seek legal counsel. From there I was directed to the Attorney General's office in Irving, TX, the headquarters for the aforementioned party. The Attorney General's office then put me in touch with the legal representatives of the [REDACTED] County, where I received contact information for the OCC Customer Assistance Group.
"The Associates have repeatedly denied my claims based on prior service. Yet, I have found nowhere in the law where it states this as a deciding factor. So I write to you now, to examine the law and enforce the necessary actions. I have enclosed all pertinent documents in regard to this matter. I have been enrolled in a debt consolidation company, and have made payments to The Associates monthly for the last year."

So while the police busy themselves chasing down pot smokers, meanwhile off in Rhode Island, over a period of 10 years corporate terrorist Citigroup's Scott Lyons was off cheating and stealing money from Citigroup's elderly customers. His father corporate terrorist Kenneth Lyons was also engaged in the scam for 6 years. It gets even uglier though. Evidence indicates that Citigroup knew about this scam for years and had received numerous complaints and did nothing to stop it.

So what exactly did Scott Lyons do:

"State regulators said the elder Lyons sold the home and furnishings of one elderly client, then allegedly forged documents allowing him to benefit from annuities he had sold her.

This isn't just about corporate terrorist Scott Lyons though, or Kenneth Lyons (his father) who engaged in similar scams. Citigroup received numerous complaints and ignored them. This directly benefitted Citigroup. In fact according to Boston.com, not only did the investigation raise concerns about oversight in the Newport office where the Lyons worked, but every office of Citigroup's in the state of Rhode Island. So this isn't just about two corporate terrorist bankers, it is about a whole corporate terrorist company that will screw grandma and grandpa if it gives them a few extra bucks.

The breaking news within the past month was that Shitigroup paid a fine of 1 million dollars. Wow! A whole 1 million dollars for a 43 billion dollar company! It is sad how this country undervalues our elderly. Evil executives and Bu$hco people walking around freely, stealing from you, me, and grandma too. Wow! I bet if grandma, robbed a Citibank they would stick her in jail for the rest of her life.

Where is the &%^$# is the MSM on this! Let's see this was mentioned in a few local papers and Inner City Presses Citigroup watch (http://www.innercitypress.org/...). We have to take the presses back from the corporate terrorist bankers!

So what happened to these corporate terrorists. Well given, the MSM's lack of coverage I can't even find out directly what happened to them. According to everything I have read they do sound like they are roaming around freely, although neither are now working for Citigroup anymore. So if Scott or Kenneth Lyons is getting to close to mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, great-grandma, etc. call the police and tell them that they are smoking pot (so the police actually bother to show up). It's time to start treating corporate criminals like the criminals they are.

Citibank is deliberately trying to cheat active duty troops out of the lower interest rate that they (and all Americans) deserve. In fact, not only do they deserve this lower interest rate, but it is required by law under the Soldier and Sailors Civil Relief Act of 1940. Just look at how these corporate criminals are stealing money from one soldier below:

"Enclosed is a copy of my son's military orders calling him to active duty, a copy of the affidavit designating me as his authorized representative, and a copy of my letter to Citibank, Sioux Falls, SD, dated 8 December, 2004. Citibank has given me all kinds of excuses for not acting on this matter. First they wanted an affidavit specifically addressed to them. They desisted on their request once I explained to them that the military do not have the time and manpower to prepare affidavits in the manner Citibank wanted. cont..

cont..Then they told me that my son's active duty orders were not with the correspondence I had mailed them. Then they said I needed to prepare a document which they were going to mail to me; I have never received such document. Last time I called I was told that they were still investigating!" What I have to say is how dare the greedy corporate thieves at Citibank steal from someone who is risking their life. Someone who should not have to worry about credit card payments, because they should just have to worry about staying alive. How dare they put a parent already under large amounts of stress under even more stress by cheating their child and giving them the run around. How evil do you have to be to do this to a family in this situation?

This is also so typical of Citibank's lies and the run around they give anyone with a Citi Card or account, etc. Back in the day when I had a Citibank card, they gave me the same run around. You will receive your cash back if you just do this, you will receive your cash back if you just do that. It was all a lie, I never saw a dime from these liars. It was simply a stall tactic so they could keep me using their card.
However, I don't even compare how they screwed me over, to what they are doing to soldiers and the families of soldiers. Another example below:

We understand that you need another document to show when exactly she enlisted in the Army. Yes, the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act of 1940. This act, was designed to allow troops to focus their attention on serving the country. However, despite backing Bushco as a red company and being a Bush campaign donor, it is obvious that neither Citibank, nor Bushco care about the troops. If Bushco did they could enforce the law, and if Citibank did they would not violate the spirit of it.

So to compare Bushco and Citibank

Both love war, but hate the soldiers who are serving in it.

Both are liars who screw brave hard working people.

Both are Un-American and traitors to the people of this country. (I had to laugh when I saw in a news article (I don't remember where) that the bombings of 2 Citibank's in Argentina due to Bush was an attack against American interests-by the way I don't think anyone was hurt in the bombings).

4.Both resort to sick twisted tactics to serve their own greed.

Both will harm anyone, no matter how amoral, to serve their own selfish needs.

Both have no family values at all. Their idea of family values is screwing over families. Progressives have family values not these liars.

In fact, Citibank hates the troops so much I decided to divide it up into two or three parts. Just like Bush, these yellow elephants have found multiple ways to screw over soldiers. Citigroup is now trying to tell the world they are an environmentally friendly company. Just like the rest of what Citigroup/Citibank says about how wonderful they are this is empty words. You might even wonder how can a bank be anti-environmental. Well just check out the latest crap Citigroup has been up to in the past month...

Citigroup is no stranger to environmental destruction. Only a few years ago Rain Forest Action Network had an anti-Citigroup campaign going. On April 15 2003 Rainforest Action Network declared the campaign off when Citigroup made a bunch of (false) promises to become a leader in environmental standards. Now not even two and a half years later Citigroup is back to its old games and fucking over the environment.

When is someone going to make Citigroup actually live up to their promises. Shitigroup gets away with lying about everything from the environment to lying to their customers about rewards programs, interest rates, etc.

In closing: Citigroup doesn't care about the environment-they only care about fucking it over for their own greed.

How low can you go? Citigroup is one of the richest companies in the world and how do they thank their employees for this when their time is about to be up. Well by stealing money from their pay checks of course.

This is not a one time thing that was done to one person either. There are multiple accounts of this online and a small discussion about this topic at http://www.fuckcitibank.com. In particular Citibank is fond of screwing employees over on their final pay check any which way they can. Even by their own admission to one employee these things occur. At the same time they lied and said these things rarely occur which if you have dealt with Shitibank you know is their stock response. Here is this former employees story"I gave a two weeks notice. I had automatic deposit. My final Paycheck was deposited and then immediately withdrawn by Citibank. I bounced 11 checks and was not paid for over 14 days. They cost me $275.00 in overdrafts when I had given them two weeks notice! Their response "we're sorry...these things rarely happen." My F***ing *ss!".

On the employee end of things they rip you off on every paycheck they ever give you by hundreds of dollars a month and they give you the same ring around that they give customers and you never see your money. Bottom line Citi Bank sucks and after I started working their I cancelled every card I had with them as well as re financing my mortgage because it was with citi mortgage. Then after working for them for 6 months I had to resighn becuase of the way they are scamming their customers and employees!".

So basically Citibank uses their employees to rip of customers and then turns around and rips of the employees. Yeah, nice. It sounds like high crime to me. When are we going to start arresting the rich who steal from the poor!

Citibank Sucks

Citibank Sucks. In fact they suck in pretty much every way possible. If you have money in this sucky bank pull it out. If you have a credit card with them tear it up. If you have nothing to do with them currently, stay the hell away from these corporate thieves. Why you ask? Here is a list of just a few things:

-Bogus late fees
-Lies about what your APR actually is: telling you its zero percent and then raising it to 28 percent when you have always paid them on time, but did not pay some other bill on times.
-Lies about the conditions of their reward programs (then again it is only a reward if you receive it). To be specific please do not fall for their cash back or i-pod scams. I myself am a victim of their cash back (or in my case no cash back) scams.
-One for the liberals: Their employment practices make Walmart look like saints. And don't we all know just how horrible Walmarts practices are. Citigroup is one of the richest companies in the world and they make sure to hire people in such ways that they don't have to give them proper benefits such as health insurance.
-One for the conservatives: Citibank illegally violated the law and charged active duty soldiers higher interest then they were allowed to by law. Of course they followed it up by a cheesy statement about how they don't violate the law knowingly. Yeah right!
